You can download the presentation below. We took a number of things away to do from the caucus meeting.
Here are some of my personal notes, among others:
- Let's print enough brochures to get +100 to the respective hotels in the area. Net, we'll probably need >1000 to print. Please discern cost/price and let's get these printed and distributed.
Updated June 11: We dropped off 50 to NKY hotels in the MainStrasse Area and we are having more printed.
- We need three separate items: a) an anonymous suggestion box out in front of the office b) a printed newsletter to send out to all residents in the area telling them about where to get our calendar (both online and in front of the office [clear plastic box]), let's plan on sending bi-annually to capture non-computer types and c) in the newsletter, let's provide them with an option to call the office and have printed materials sent to their house for people like the young lady on Pershing.
- I'll take the responsibility for setting up a community email address. It will basically resend an email to the list of addresses for security/notification items. Once setup, we'll put on website and send out through printed items so that people can email groups/security concerns/otherwise.
- For instructions for festival cleanup, setup a perimeter that necessarily includes the Pershing district. Let's comment this as part of their contract.
- Nielsen PR methodology for festival attendance/metrics. Can we at least look into this? If there's a better model, let's adopt it. I don't know of one immediately. Danielle mentioned it, probably worth at least considering if there is a better model.
- Go ahead and call out a memo for our vendors, let them estimate the following a) number of bathrooms per x (number of people) and detail (security) watchout? This again is Pershing area.
